I would say Crystal Skull is not as good as Crusade, but a lot better than Temple of Doom. Its right in between them.
There are stunts that are 100% impossible and may make u roll ur eyes…but there is MORE than enuff great parts to make the movie worth seeing.
Some Rottentomatoes quotes I agree with:
“It's as good as it needs to be to justify its place in the Indiana Jones canon, and that should be enough.”
“Isn't a perfect film, but it's far more satisfying as a whole than the sum of it's parts.”
“It stands up just fine to Temple of Doom and Last Crusade, and it does not stand up to Raiders, and this is all that a sane person would have ever hoped for.”
Anyone else see it yet? Or plan on seeing it?

Took my son to see it last week. We both enjoyed it quite a bit. The wife wasn't as enthusiastic, but she's not a huge fan of the series... This rating is with my son's help (CJ: age 7) Better than Raiders Slightly better than Temple Not quite as good as Last Crusade (my son's favorite for many reasons... not the least of which is watching the guy who picks the wrong cup age quickly and have his eyes fall out of his head) Two

My step son (who is a bit older than some of the posters here...hahaha)... was a tad critical of the recent installment and thought it certainly didn't live up to the original series. Found it hokey to a degree.
This 30 year old fella is a great supporter of Indy and is an even greater supporter of the Spiderman series of movies, just wasn't moved to the point that he expected to be???
I trust his critique on movies and yet will keep an open mind when it comes on to the "small screen"...and will then be able to pass along my thoughts.
Thanks Kim
