I do believe it was Styx Pieces of Eight. I must have been around ten since that's when I had my paper route so I could have some spending money. I remember the record was orange LOL which sorta surprised me.

My first record besides children's records were I Love Rock n Roll - Joan Jett and The Blackhearts and Freeze Frame - J Geils Band 45s. I had a lot of 45s. The first full length albums I remember I purchased them at the same time; Pyromania and Thriller . I was around 10 or 11. I still listen to Pyromania but am not really into Micheal Jackson anymore.

Don't worry Pete, many of us here have confessed to owning Thriller ;D

Don't worry Pete, many of us here have confessed to owning Thriller ;D I don't think I knew anyone who didn't own it back then. I bet Trexx never owned it.

I don't think I knew anyone who didn't own it back then. I bet Trexx never owned it. ...astutely you've tapped my inventory correctly, no Thriller here, ever... The only "Jackson" family member on record (tape or Cd) around this place is Janet's Rhythm Nation. Ya know... that, video for Thriller is dang good. It shows the dancing from a far vantage point more so than the more updated presentations in videos. It's cool when all the rotting corpses are in sync doing the moves like they did... -trexx
